Michael Tirri was formerly an Officer at one of the largest investment banks in Manhattan where he managed a Global computer graphics department. He he had been employed at the Passaic County Sheriff's Department and currently works for a Document Technology Company in NYC.

Councilman Tirri has Chaired many committees for the Borough of Haledon. He currently sits as the Capital Projects and Technology Chairperson. He has pushed hard to add more resources where needed yet keeping an eye on the bottom line.

Michael graduated from Berkeley College and was President of the first Berkeley College Alumni Association. Michael is also a graduate of Manchester Regional High School where he continues to mentor business students and helps supply them with the encouragement they need to become successful.

Michael intends to use his business, managerial and technical skills to help strengthen the residential and business community of Haledon. Michael is married to a descendant of “The Haledon Botto’s” Daria Robles and are now homeowners on Pompton Road the have one child Michael Tirri Jr.
