Mayor Stampone, Council and entire Borough of Haledon would like to express our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Rose Whites family and friends. Rose White was a long time resident of Haledon. She and her husband raised their daughter Debbie in our town. Rose passed away on November 4, 2007. Rose was known and loved by all those that knew her. She was active on the AARP Haledon Chapter Board, the Haledon Senior Group and was the President of the Haledon Public Library Board of Trustees. Rose received the Haledon Borough Volunteer of the Year award in 2006 for all of her work and dedication to our town . Rose will be missed but certainly she will never be forgotten. We consider ourselves, as well as our town lucky to have had someone as dedicated, giving and loving to have shared her life with us.
