The Centennial Book celebrating Haledon's 100 years of history is now available for purchase at the Haledon Municipal Complex. This book follows the progress and changes from being incorporated in 1908 to present day.

The Centennial Edition can be purchased for $30 at the Municipal Clerk's office, 510 Belmont Avenue. Once the initial print has sold out the book will be made available at printing cost.
Haledon Office of Emergency Management-Emergency Alert System
Attention to all Haledon residents, the Haledon Office of Emergency Management has set up a Emergency Alert System through NIXLE. This Emergency Alert System will advise residents by text message and/or email of any emergency situations in the Borough of Haledon. Emergency situations such as: serious weather alerts, traffic alerts, missing persons, water emergencies, evacuations, or any other pertinent information. Residents may register by texting 07508 to 888777 or going on to the following website: www.nixle.com. Any questions contact the Office of Emergency Management at 973-595-7766 ext. 135.

If you have a fire hydrant near your home, the Borough is requesting residents to please remove any snow that covers or obstructs access to fire hydrants. For Public Safety reasons, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

In accordance with the newly enacted “Citizen Service Act”, anyone interested in being appointed as a member to any Borough authority, commission, or board must complete the attached “Citizen Leadership Form”. If you are interested in serving,please complete the form and file an original in the Municipal Clerk’s office at 510 Belmont Avenue, Haledon, NJ.
